About us

We have been designing and manufacturing access systems for high-rise buildings, glass façades and glass roofs since 1969. As the result of restructuring, we have been trading under the name Gebr. Käufer GmbH since 1987.

We focus in essence on two main service activities:
Planning, manufacturing, delivery and installation of access systems for cleaning and maintaining glass roofs, cupolas and façades.

Motorized suspended scaffolds and mobile working platforms for façade construction, reconstruction, industrial painting etc. for use on tower blocks, chimneys, cooling towers, sports stadia, bridges etc.

CAD-aided design is carried out in our own design office, with the entire manufacturing process being undertaken in our own workshops. Qualified specialist staff carry out on-site installations.

Our products and special constructions are being used all over the world, as witnessed by the Stade de France- Paris, World Trade Center - Sarajevo, Tsing Ma Bridge- Hongkong, to name but a few. As one of the leading manufacturers, we are also a member of the working group on "Access Technology" of the Federal Metal Association.
